I'm back at my favorite hobby of making planets. This time they are all PS, as I've learned a few new tricks and LightWave started to feel limited. They aren't the best but pretty enough for first real PS work I've ever done.

Number 1. Pretty gasgiant. Nothing special.

Number 2. Experimental. Came out pretty fine.

Number 3. My first good gasgiant.

Number 4. My favorite. Piced together from Mars and Venus, but could definately use some tweaking.

Number 5. Latest planet. Again, pretty nice but nothing special. And something went wrong with the rings.

I've tested a couple of them ingame and they look good enough.

C&C are welcomed :)

For gas giants, you only need to paint some colors, motion blur a few times and add some filters. I once saw a really nice tutorial on how to do it, but I can't find it anymore.

I didn't add  clouds for two reason:

1. They are supposed to be somewhat dry planets.
2. I really don't know how to do them :p (Ok, I do have a few ideas but I haven't tried them yet)
