People, just use this list instead of trying to blow your mind out trying to remember each and every capital ship destroyed in both Freespace games and Silent Threat.

And, just like kara said, the Phoenicia may or may not survive, depending on whether the little "ship-invulnerable" tag kicks in or not.

The shiplist is not 100% accurate, IMO.

For example, the NTD Normandy was original the GTD Normandy, and is in one of the FS1 single missions. Also it lists the Lambda transport wing as if they were the same ships in several seperate missions, which is doubtful. Those are the problems with it I can remember off the top of my head.

I also have some issues with the personnel list and how it describes Bosch' companions as "Lieutenants" because that was how Bosch referred to them...when I think it's fairly obvious that was not the definition of lieutenant that was being used.

Is it just me or would it be more use for all GTVA and all vessles of all races to be fighters? Fighters and bombers.
Sobeck, 6,000 + crew. Colossus, 30,000 + crew. C. blow up quickly by a sathy. Barely damaged sathy. Two bomber wings (or one) that were in, killed sathy.
Sobeck, two bomber wings can take them out easially, besides in Serious Blockade < cause its usually hard, without XerXes >. So 8 people combared to 6,000+! A fleet of fighters\bombers could wipe out many enemy cap ships.
Orions, 10,000 + crew. RI, taken out in less then 20 seconds. Complete waste of recoruces, men, and metal, if you ask me..

Anyone ever thought about this?

Bomber wings can never defeat a sathanas, bombs do zilch damage to the beast, you need supercap weapons to hurt it.

And the sath did come up as sathanas 17

I took out its turrets from long range with my trebs then made delta Wing nuke it to death.

In WW2, 50 torpedo and dive bomber can destroy or cripple a aircraft carrier with a crew of 2000, and although this is a rare case, 4 Japanese dive bomber destroyed USS Prinston, a light carrier with 1000 crew.
That doesn't mean aircraft carrier is useless.
