Finally finished my primary turrets. They're pretty much hi-poly versions of the secondary turrets, but they appear different enough to count







Here they are applied on the Triest. She looks marvelous with them on, don't ya think?

Since I already had a base to make on (my secondary anti-cap turret), less than an hour in DoGA to put in all the greebling and stuff. Quite a few minutes of that were spent rendering it though (especially the last two pictures)

The turret is very nice.

But the Triest...the dreaded AC silliness* strikes again.

*BattleTech term referring to the fact that some 'Mechs don't appear able to store the ammunition or generate the energy for weapons of the size they have.

The entire vessel is centered around powering and running those fore guns (along with the central one which is incomplete atm). By comparision, it has few other anti-capital ship weapons (or other weapons for that matter ). So yeah, I think they'll fit quite well, actually.
