wear pocketed gym shorts right insde your pants, and keep it in those pockets? Then you can confuse the shopkeepers and such when reaching for money

Ok, one more question: does anyone know that transfer utility that will let me put my music onto a buddy's ipod? I need it so that we can load up with each other's music on our ipods for the trip

there's some way to open it up like a removeable media drive, and see all the files and everything in folders... Though not having one, i'm not sure how...

Can't help with iPods, but the money is safe in a front pocket. Don't carry too much cash, though, ATM's are everywhere. And indeed keep your hand on it. You'll get a feel for when to clasp your hand to your side and when you're ok. If possible, get one of those moneybelt thingys if you insist in keep more than 20 euros on you. If you've got a creditcard, better keep it in that thing too.

The subway closes at 22:00 or something, so that's one thing you want to remember when you go out.
