I read this story in the metro paper that they give out in the big railway stations here. Don't have a link to a website with it on but I knew you guys would want to hear this one.

Russia :Leopards at a circus scratched their trainers when they tried to dress them up in Nazi uniforms. The fancy dress is being rolled out for a sell out show to celebrate the 60th anniversary of VE day in 2 weeks time but the big cats were "not happy".
 Faced with this problem they thought of putting horses into Nazi uniforms but the cost was prohibative so they have now settled on monkeys.

Talking about the Leopard problems Anatoly Marchevsky, director of the Yekaterinburg circus said "It was impossible to get the costumes on them - and the Hitler moustache kept falling off"

I'm thinking that MosNews probably isn't an entirely factual newspaper.

Also, why the hell are Russian protestors waving around flags that bear the OTPOR symbol (a Serbian student opposition movement). It's not just close, it's the exact same sign.

To be honest I wasn't certain either. Look at the medal Chernobyl workers got for instance!

I suspect that maybe it's like theregister.co.uk in that it is a news site. Just one that likes to take the mickey at the same time as reporting the news.

That said Metro is a serious newspaper so unless they haven't been checking their facts it sounds like it could be real.
