How is it stealthy? The fins on the back would make it's EM signature bigger...and painting it black? Would make it's heat signature sky rocket.

The best stealth design...would be a thin cone/rocket painted white with some radar/sensor deflecting armour...and a cloaking device to top it off

There are ways to reduce IR signature, baffles and such. Besides, the best stealth material would be black: if it's going to absorb EM radiation, it's probably going to be black.

Also, since this is apparently still having combat at visual ranges, black is lost against a starfield, and lack of a visual target can really, really screw you up.
