Interesting, I'd like to know more. Are they any good?
I'm currently using AVAST and I've been using it for more than one year... It is less resource consuming than norton (not quite hard) and it has yet to fail me on virus detection plus it updates virus signatures several times per week ensuring you won't be naked against newer infections.
Extra features are outlook, p2p and messenger shields which should offer extra protection there plus it hsa some other basic function against exploits (it detected the DSO exploits before SP2).
Coupled with MSAS it's nicely keeping the system clean and stable.
The only low sides are that it's slightly slower than some commercial products (but comparing it to corporate stuff like e-trust is a bit unfair on my side) and you have to re-register it (for free) every 14 months.
