Got pics? :) Is that a mesh or an actual model you're building?

A high-poly Hatshepsut would be very cool, I agree. The non-armoured parts have potential for serious detail (based on the existing textures), and it'll look great.

Mesh. I've got the plastic kit too but haven't got any proper work surfaces to build it upon (yet). Leman Russ for those who like that sort of thing.

Aha. Be sure to post it when you finish it. I'd recommend the Forge World add-ons for the model - they look much better with the alternative turrets and extra bits.

I built a Russ/Chimera hybrid years ago, when I was into 40K. I sold most of my stuff but kept that because it took me a long time and looked great as a centrepiece. I loved converting the tanks - the kits are really easy to modify.

I need more money to get more into the 40k stuff. I'd love to customize it, but can't bring myself to take an exacto to the little dudes with how much they cost x_x
Arrr. I'm a pirate.

You WILL go to warpstorm...

I gave up on the models, and now I just play BFG with counters and plead poorness. They're just too expensive, t'aint worth it.

Collecting a decent sized force for gaming is a horrendously expensive task, I agree. I gave up on the whole gaming thing years ago, though I've recently dug out some of my old unpainted models, to paint 'em for fun. I might get a tank or two - those were always my favourite - and do some more conversions. That was always my favourite bit - getting a kit, and chopping it up/ putting it together differently to see what I could come up with. I'll see if I can get some pics of the stuff I've got left...

But anyway, someone attend to the Hoover! It's too good a design to be left alone...
