It looks like you're trying to use the ballist version of the maxim when your ships.tbl can't handle it.

If you're not using tables you've modified yourself. I'd probably try downloading the 3.6.6 VP files if I were you. Get rid of the temporary workaround vp along with everything beginning with mv and install those and your maxim problem should be solved.

If you have modified the tables you'll need to alter the ships table to allow the ships to carry ballistic weapons or change the maxim back to the version on 's tables rather than the one you've gotten out of the media VP files.

I love bombing, so my favorite target would be most cruisers expecially a aeolus or a lilith (yes I die a lot). Nothing is more satisfying then spamming their turrets with EMP missles then following it up with a bomb to blowing up a couple of turrets and maybe taking out a subsystem.

OK, that sounds like a good plan.  Where would... (checks site) ...oh.  I was at that site no more than 3 days ago, and the files I listed were the ones it had.  Pays to check every day, huh?
