Nah they put an IV in my hand and knocked me out
Stop... Hammertime :hammer:

 I think that's the way it should be done. Laughing gas has been misused too much.

For three of my wisdom teeth, I was knocked out for (Lady says, "Imagine a nice beach", then I wake up with my mouth numb.  It's weird how you can actually feel the slight burning sensation of the anesthetic traveling up your arm).  First thing I did after I woke up was stand up and then fall back down XD.

My three teeth were still mostly underneath the gums.  No complications besides not being able to eat much solid food for a couple of days.

The pain wasn't even enough to require Tylenol much less the uber-pain-killers they prescribed for me.  I suppose I was lucky in that the specialist was skilled and my situation wasn't particularly hard to deal with.

For my last one, since it was completely out already (and functional), my dentist just shot the area with novocain or something and then took a grip on my face and pulled it out.  Wasn't terrible, nor was it terribly pleasant.
