Which derelict campaign file actually WORKS?  I have one, but when I click the ready room, it just sits there, doesnt even leave the hanger.

I put the Derelict.vp in the Freespace2 folder, I start the game, make a new pilot for derelict, choose that campaign, click on the ready room, and it doesnt start.  it sits there as if i havent clicked the ready room doors.  theres details

Which version? The original or the Blaise Russel version?

Are you using FS2_Open? Which Build? Are you using mod? Where did you get the deralict VP from in the first place (I have the original on my own website)?

well i went on the volition archives and downloaded it there.  that one works.  im not sure which release i ahd, but it didnt work.  I download a 43 MB file of it, and it had its own installer, so thats an official version.

That sounds more like BR's version and it requires you to have certain mods to work.

If it had an installer, it's the original version. I remember, 'cause as a HOTU user I couldn't get the campaign to work for ages.

Derelict is not 43MB in size though. I should know. It's rared up on my website. No idea what's he got there then.

why dopes Blaises release need certain mods to work?  the one I downloaded (on volitions watch archives) works without any mods.

Blaise improved Derelict by fixing bugs and adding new SCP features to it (Like the Nebulae). As a result you'll have a bigger download but it will look better

yea i ahd the blaises release, thats why it didnt work.  I used the one on hte volition archives watch and its fine so imm good with that.
