After a long time away and boredom, i thought why not make a mission with some of the new SCP. The briefing and debriefing is crap i know that:) but comments on the mission is appriciated as it proberly needs some or allot of tweaking.

When it asks for a download type, Select Free and then you can download it. If anyone can mirror the file for a while i would be most greatfull.


My launcher verion is 5.3 with

I really like standalone missions actually, but I am buried in coursework at the moment. Two tests this week. I might try it out tonight though.

Am I the only one who's actually played it?

Well, it's hard. Really hard. Playing on Medium, not only do I lose the Janus but I end up with 3% hull on my Herc, or dying in my Perseus.

Playing on Easy with a Myrmidon was better but still chaotic. I can't intercept two wings of heavy bombers (with turrets!) while being chased by two wings of fighters (with hornets!) at close range with rapid respawns. All you really need to do is space things out so the player doesn't get knocked away and disoriented by shockwaves while dozens of Hornets are slamming into him.

Otherwise not bad. What SCP tricks did you use that wouldn't be possible in retail, though?

Ty for playing it and the comments, i'll start making adjustments to the bomber wings so you don't have to fly around like mad to intercept them.

There isn't anything special in it so far that cannot be done with the retail version. if anyone has a suggestion then i would be glad to hear it.

And the only thing i have used is the big all in one VP pack with the upgrades, adn the Adv effects vp by lightspeed. But it's prety much what you need to play the SCP.
