Kazan's wishlist (mythTV box design)
One of my housemates is building a MythTV PVR. He should be moving in sometime tomorrow, so our PVR should be working by Sunday. Best thing: it's on our house LAN (80m of Cat5 cable laid by me, in my last five weeks of free time) so we can put all our music and video on it and enjoy all the benefits of a centralised media server.

Including being able to have incredible house parties, what with the uber-speakers being provided by another housemate.

PVR rocks.

Can't stand it myself. It's alright if I don't have to maintain it (the University systems use Red Hat 9) but I wouldn't run it on my own system.
