Well, what he says is mostly true. I remember taking part in an effort to raise money for the bombed children of Yugoslavia.
What it boils down to is this. We Greeks and the Serbs are the only countries in the Balkans who were on the allies sides in both wars. We are also feeling sold down the river. The Serbs for what happened in Yugoslavia post 1991, and us for Cyprus 1974.
You can look at it from different sides and say that we were to blame and had it coming. But the sad truth is that having a dictator running things (as Serbs had back in 1990's and we Greeks in 1974) can create the background for REALLY UGLY things. Such as those that happened.
Just one thing people. Serbs are a honest peace loving people. To put them on the same scale as the Nazi Germany or worse (including the war crimes thing) is ludicrous. There were gangs that raped, pillaged and burned but that is what happens in EVERY civil war, since time immemorial. The real crime of the west is that it tried to present ordinary serbs as criminals, which is JUST NOT TRUE. A dictator led them, and distorted things to them, but that doesn't change either history or who they are.
No matter what everyone else thinks of the Serbs, we stand with them and look forward to seeing them along us in EU. As always.
