Tech Room Mishap cont.
Sorry, it has been a while due to the server problems. The minor issue that I was having is that in the tech room, the info for "Intelligence" is missing. I was told to run a search for the file species.tbl, however, I could not find one besides the one that is located in the root.vp file on my computer.

Did you try creating a new pilot?

Re: Tech Room Mishap cont.
I never was able to come up with a definitive answer to why this happens.  It's not based on names like weapons and ships are, just the number of intel entries.  What I thought was happening was the intel entries are 0 at some particular point when the pilot file is written.  That would cause no entries to show up.  I never had this happen when I was actually testing for it, though it has happened to me several times.  The code has changed a bit since the problem was originally noticed (in part to try and fix it) but I can't really tell if it happens less often or more often now.  A new pilot should fix it, but simply restarting the campaign should as well.

Anyway, the new pilot file code that should be available sometime next month will properly solve this problem and not be affected by a different/bad/missing species.tbl.

Re: Tech Room Mishap cont.
This might occur if you start a campaign with the custom tech database flag. I had the same thing happen to me. You can just create a basic one mission campaign with a bunch of tech-add-intel flags to restore the entries.
