Has anyone else seen this rather long (but rather good) movie yet? I saw a couple of days ago and was impressed, though I tend to be that way with Spielberg movies in general.

Any thoughts/opinions?
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

I saw it a week ago... I thought it basically rocked. Depressing as hell, for sure... I mean, the message that I took away from it was that Spielberg and the writers no longer have any hope for a decent resolution.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

I saw it. I thought it was excellent. A good depiction of the cycle of violence that characterizes these cultural feuds.

This is the one about the '72 Olympics, yes? AFAIK it's not out at my local cinema yet, but I'd like to see it if possible.

On a related note, there was a documentary film that Michael Douglas narrated called One Day in September, about the same events. It's a few years old now, but it's very good.

That movie's sitting right in front of my telly at the moment. I haven't seen it yet, but now I just might.

Yeah, this is a movie I really want to see. Actually, I'd really like to hear Sandwich's take on it as well. Nut it looks like a good thought provoking movie.
I have returned... Again...
