Hello everyone, I have installed TBP and now playing B5 Heat em up. Unfortunately, I have a problem with ambient lightning (in fact the ships dont have dark surfaces (i mean "shadows")/ See the screenshot:


I have tried turning on and off many params but it doesnt work. Please help!

Try adding -ambient_factor 75 to the Custom Flags line under (Launcher's) Features tab. And also read the references of these from FSwikis command line reference.

Try it with ambient factor of 60.

Try swapping from D3D mode to OpenGL on the video tab or visa versa.

Ive found out that this bug is because of B5 Heat em up. In any other campaigns it seems ok. 
Probably the problem is in the renderer of B5 Heat em up.

B5 Heat 'em Up is a fan-made campaign so it uses the same renderer as TBP. Maybe the mission designer forgot to add ambient lightning to his/her missions?

The lighting should be fine with the ambient lighting flag, I normally set it to 65
