I downloaded the 1/27 fred cvs and am having the following problem:

As an example, I open up a new file to make a mission. The screen is focused on ulysses 0. I add perseus 1 (doesn't matter what type of fighter really). No matter what I do, I can't get those two planes in a wing, on the same team, or change the player starting craft. In the mission, friendly and hostile ships come up red target hostile and try to kill my ship if i launch from there.  Its a single player mission, all teams at war NOT checked. Am I FRED dumb or do I have a bug?

Sounds like a bug to me. I just gave it a try in the same build and I had no trouble though.

Do this. Add the Perseus. Hold down the left mouse and draw a box round both ships then release the mouse. The names of both ships should turn green. Press the Form Wing button (It's three triangles in a box at the top of the screen).

If that doesn't work then you've definately got a bug.

Well : know tahat too, but I no know if is the same, but, in the 1/26 build you cant make wings of ships of diferent races...
