The models finally done... after 6 months...
Yes.  Some of you might remember my atropos concept model from a while ago.  Well, after 6 months of compulsive tweaking, rice krispies treats, and plain flat out OCD.  Its done.  its final.  No more changes.  Now I just need to UV and texture it.  It'll probably take me another 6 months, but I am not giving up on this baby.  Although, I wouldn't mind a helping hand.  I'm a modeler, not a texturer.  <My teacher's own words ironically>

and for those who are wondering..  3k + on the poly count for Lod 0 still working on breaking it down to lower lod's.  Well, what do you think?

Well, for a first model it's ok I suppose, but it's severly lacking in detail.  The actual retail Erinyes model was more detailed than that.

And of course, there's the obligatory "there are 3000 polys in that?!?"
who needs a signature? ;)
It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here

it's all the roundness that's doing it. you can probably shave off 1000 or move by removing polys from the rounded areas. you don't lose much quality anyways....

It would be a bit easier to see the detail with even a realativly plain texture map. It does resemble the Erinyes. Not bad for your first effort.
