Now, now, there have been several good Star Trek movies, namely the Even-Odd curse with 2, 4, 6 & 8 being the good ones, with Nemesis finally breaking the curse... but in the wrong direction..

Yep. Wrath of Khan was the best movie they ever made in the ST universe but the other even numbered ones before Nemesis were pretty good too (Although I have to take issue with First Contact for beginning the pussification of the Borg).

I've always liked TNG but I'm not going to let that blind me to the flaws in Nemesis or discount the views of someone simply because they happen to like Star Wars a lot.

I liked Nemesis...fun special effects, and the Nemesis just looked cool.

IF nothing else, it provided the inspiration for this :D:

The Nemesis? Shinzon? The Scimitar? The word 'Nemesis' from the title?

I remember reading the article from startrek.com that claimed Star Trek X would have a character that was as Kahn was to Kirk, but to Picard. Needless to say, I was disappointed.

I liked Nemesis...more than Inssurection and almost more than Generations.  First Contact was the best of the TNG movies.

Favourites from the original series movies were 2, 4, and 6.

Generations left me cold, the original idea was to have both Enterprises meet, and take on a common enemy, personally, I would much rather have seen the whole lot of them interacting than just Kirk and Picard (Rumour has it that the Enterprise D was to be damaged beyond repair in the final battle).

The Voyage Home was pretty good, though certainly tongue in cheek as far as the actors were concered ;)

Not that continuity is something Star Trek has ever really cared about, but that would have wrecked about a dozen episodes of TNG right there.  They manage to go through enough tie-ins to TOS Trek that would have required the crew to not have undergone any super-time-warps or the like.

do not torment the sleep deprived artist, he may be vicious when cornered,
in case of emergency, administer caffeine to the artist,
he will become docile after that,
and less likely to stab you in the eye with a mechanical pencil

It's only funny if you read that line in a scottish accent.

Sort of like "Nuclear Wessels" only works in Chekov.
