into the dephts of hell
hello,

i load the differents chapters of 'into the dephts of hell' and i found in a .wps format
where could i put this format in the freespace directory ?

those are Microsoft Works documents. (the storyline) unfortunately not a widely used format. you might be able to convert them with word.

OpenOffice.org probably has a good shot at being able to open that and let you save it in another format as well. OO.o has a lot of import filters.

Openoffice.org can open virtually anything, if anything can open it, openoffice can.

WPS is actually Microsoft Works format, neither Word or OpenOffice can read it. See here for a converter: http://userful.com/support/ms-works

if i understood correctly, wps format is an old one used by works in the prehistoric age.

Word XP is on my computer and i search now for a converter with it

Microsoft Works is like a lite version of Office. The software and default formats are different, Works can read Office formats but not necessarily modify existing Office files. Office on the other hand does not support Works file default file formats, at least not out-of-the-box. Works is mostly found from OEM computers such as Dell, HP, etc, etc since it is very cheap and still used today.
