My attempt at a RENDER (GASP!)

Its something, all the ships are directly from pre-rendered sources. but the back ground and stars and sun as well as 2 planets (but the all blueish one in the top corner is from FS2). so a lil trick here and there for us peeps who cant attain rendering programs!

shouldn't the planets be crescent shaped if the sun is in that position?

Yea, but he was working with what he had.  Considering he had no access to rendering software, I"d say that's pretty good.

The Arcadia looks a little stretched out.  Where did that one come from?

it was pasted in place lol i made it kinda wide to give it a diff angle, also the image came from the main fs1 voliton website with pics of the old models. the regular one is just as long. but notice in the game they are more bulky and togeather. much like everything else.

about the only thing that really gives it away is the fact that he used the OLD Deimos render (it has side guns & the old colour scheme)
