I want to engineer an in game engine intro, Ive go most of the camera cuts, pans and tracking shots set, I've seen fade out used in transcend and JAD boogaloo edition and Barneys Space Adventure,

Is there a Fade in SEXP that i seem to be missisng?
Why does it taunt me so.......

Yeah, it's under Change > Cutscenes > Fade In

I cant get the mission to start as black and fade in whats going wrong?

Used to be a problem with it not working during in-game cutscenes but it seems to work all the time in the newest builds. Which is nice .
