Need a DIVX re-encode
HI guys, Omniscaper tried to help me out by pointing me to TEMPGNC Express.

While I found it very easy to use (and probably will be usign it a lot more in teh future) problemis I got a 110mb vid I need to trim 10mb off.

See it's a "20 year history of Macross" pre-Macross Zero documentary. I planned on posting it on youtube and link it on the GW site. First of all cause it's very well done, and second it would answer some questions peopele have about the timelines.

Problem is the upload limit is 100MB... I'm over by 10MB. Anyway I tried to re-encode with the options available and best it can do is mpeg1 or 2 and that increases size to like 250mb!!!!!

Is anyone willing to help make this slightly smaller (Resolution shouldn't get much smaller is possible!) as for sound, long as you can hear it lowering the quality wouldn't be much of an issue.. I just don't know what to do about this.

Virtualdub can encode to Divx or Xvid, as long as you have the codec.

Xvid or h.264 for best quality? i heard that h.264 is very good at lower bitrates.
