Yup.

I expected it, though.  Berlusconi still has fingers in a lot of pies.

So how would the offending teams go about getting back into Series A? Can they earn it, or is there a minimum "time-out" period?

Not sure, who from Serie B is being bumped up to Serie A to balance things out?

No-one, no teams will be relegated from "A" though.

LOL    They said Trinidad & Tobago did well in the world cup with players from low divisions, just look where Italy's players now play! Sunderland can actually buy some players!

You know there was a period a few years back when I thought the same about Man Utd. It seemed that every other week they'd be losing and then suddenly the opposition would score an own goal in the last 2 minutes or their defence would suddenly decide to stand around staring into space and twiddling their thumbs for no reason. I reckon this goes on more than we'll ever know.
