I've recently gotten back in to the Half-life series, and this time around on medium, I beat it  :P . In the original Half-life, it's just a regular cliche; an experiment goes awry and aliens start killing things, except then the goverment's marines keep on trying to kill you, then you launch a satillite into orbit, ETC. Quite good. The HL endboss is actually very easy, with only 800 hp. OP4 is kina strange, because half the time you have no idea what you're supposed to be doing, and the endboss is very annoying (plus the ending sucks). In OP4, you are a Marine sent to clean up the experiment facility, exept the aliens are owning everybody, and you guys retreat. Natruly you get left behind and half to kill a crapload of guys before you get "rescued". It was okay. Blue-shift, aside from being short, was quite good. You play as a Security gaurd who is trying to escape the facilities, using the same teleport technology that started the accident. What do you guys think of the HL:1 series?

I like it. I loved turning cheats on and starting a rampage through the intro sequence. Unfortunately, I never beat HL or OP4. The latter had a nasty bug that would cause the game to crash to desktop when I shot the boss in the eye with a laser, which was needed to advance the fight.

It's one the best games out there. I just didnt play Blue Shift, but one the facts that I liked about OP4 is that it gives another view to the same incident. Of course, HL2 is much, much better.  :) And I've beated it on Hard.  :P
