Each version of Fred2 open I try to launch won't work. I get this message:

I'm running a Pentium D 2.0 Ghz and a Geforce 7300.

That's a really old version of FRED, judging from the build path.  And that GL bug was fixed a long time ago.  Try a more recent version.

Thanks, and please excuse me for asking this question but... I can't seem to find a download for a more recent version. Are they on the SCP site, or should I be looking somewhere else?

Recent builds forum, 3.6.9 RC5 is currently the latest version.

The 3.6.9 Release candidates all have copies of FRED in the downloads AFAIK.

When you update FRED you'll need to update FS2_Open at the same time anyway so grabbing both in the same download isn't a real problem.
