I have been watching this forum for a long time and I must say you guys are doing a great thing for the best space game ever.

I have seen that a few guys made there own ships, so that inspired me to do one on my own.

So This is my first ship in 3d. It is called gtc atlantis and is the next Fenris.

It has it's own fighter bay (4 fighters or light bombers),
it has new engines that rotate 360 degrees
and it is the fastest capital ship ever made(60m/s)

backgruond:
This ship has been in the planing since the shivan again appeard. command quickly realised that they need more fighters on the front lines. This means that this ships do not need fighers from other ships. They can attack small ships by them selfs.

this ship has one beemcannon (like the ones on an orion), 3 antifighter beems and 3 flack guns. Its armor is made of the same material as the Deimoses, so it can take a punch but to avoid damage atlantis it relies on its speed.

Little plain.

Not that I like to criticise, but there's not much 'shape' about it.  Very little ideal of what is the front/rear, etc.

It defintely needs more substance.... and I hate to burst your bubble but there's another cap ship that goes 60m/s: the GVC Anya, from Technological Superiority.

Welcome to HLP! Exits are located most anywhere, but all of them are blocked, so no good attmepting to use one. Flamethrowers are located under all seats for emergencies, but because of budget cuts, debates, and the number 42, they have been filled with Holy Water. Plasma weapons are stored in secure lockers, which may only be opened by an admin, , or a hyperintelligent shade of blue. The ventilation system is off-limits, because Carl, HLP's unofficial mascot and resident Shivan, lives in there. If you ever meet Carl, give him your lunch, and back away slowly. He might leave you alone. Obey the mods, respect fellow members, and enjoy your stay at HLP!

I will try to improve the ship as best as i can.

As for the GVC Anya, I didn't know that. So this will be one of the fastest ship in the gtva.

Whats the relative size compared to the Fenris or Aeoulos? Or just its length in general?

Well the lenght will be around 240m so it will be a shorter then a fenris but (probably) longer then aeolus

not complaining, but places in FS2 seem to be installations and the ilk. (ie Arcadia, Ganymede)
