I decided to slowly but surely start on a 'Trek "comic." The character there is the Andorian science officer.

And BWO is...?

:p

The ship looks a tad oversmoothed, the lettering too large and vaguely fuzzy.

WOw...  I see angst on a fat lipped face, is that PINK as an Andorian?  ;7 Cool...

But the nacels, too techinicolor for my tastes, I liked the traditonal pinkish red. (Am I a closet commie? Oh yeah I forgot the Federation is "Utopian Communism with some Democracy thrown in", nevermind)  ;)

I'm still fiddling with render settings.

I'll get to updating that BWO mission hopefully this weekend. Classes have been... a lot. Rendering stuff I've been slowly working on for a while is a bit easier to do than my going "FS mission monk" mode where all I do is FRED, mod, and test excessively for 72 hours and pop out a ton of stuff.

Well I was sort of aiming for... "If Starbuck was an Andorian science officer who was madly in love with a Vulcan medical officer that she pretended to hate..."

A shot of the four command staff members.

The Chief Medical Officer
(Yes half of his face is less detailed due to an LOD issue when doing this render)

The USS Durandal, which is going to be destroyed!

While nipples are always nice ;7,  staring at them made me notice that the chicks are clones, with different heads. You might consider altering the body a bit. Something height and hip and chest sizes. At least so that they don't look like the male bodybuilder-clones. I mean, what are the odds that all four are the exact same height?

Otherwise it looks good tho...

I also feel it neccessary to point out that having an Orion female on a Starfleet crew is a recipe for disaster, unless they're all Vulcan mind you.

"My celibacy oath is on file."

IIRC something along those lines was planned for one of the characters in the first attempt to restart Trek. Lieutenant Ilya or something along those lines; I can get out the book I have and check...

That was the character in ST:TMP who got alienated by V'Ger.

As for the Orion, she could be a problem but not for that reason. Afterall joining starfleet to run away from your slave-master matron makes enemies...

Lt. Ilya was Deltean, not Orion.  As for the problems with the Orion female, I was refuring to the pharamones thing explored in Enterprise.  On the other hand, many fans dislike Enterprise enough to deny it cannon status in their books.

For this I'm considering both Ent and the Animated as canon. I'm trying to figure out how to do a good Kzinti. Right now I'm also slowly slapping together a Horta navigation officer.
