I encountered a strange problem. Sometimes (seldom) I noticed that suddenly the backgrounds are disappearing ingame. I didn't give much about that, since it was random and very seldom.

But now I have a mission, where it happens all the time, and always at the same moment. At this special moment I change a few ships using the "change-shipclass" SEXP.

Is anything known about that already ?

I can't imagine why one would affect the other. you sure you haven't accidentally included a change background SEXP in there or something?

Not really, but I doublecheck  

Maybe it's a problem only on my machine, since the models loaded at that moment are quite uge, maybe my GPU get's confused. Since it always happens on the same spot, I wait what the others say
