Actually, the Eden Project is three campaigns, all of which use a common MOD package. They are all tied together plotwise as well, as trilogies should be

Anyways, Winds of Fate (the first campaign in the series) puts you as Kyle Polk, a pilot who was turned down from the GTVA fighter corps because you failed the written exam. This was really an error on the part of the officers grading the exam, but you don't know that.
With all the piracy going on in Epsilon Pegasi and the systems around it, due to a lack of adequate GTVA military presence, you decide to be a good samaritan and try to help out. Taking a contract to protect a freighter convoy, you receive a GTF Apollo fighter and go with them to Polaris...
A note: After the first mission, the GTVA decides to look at your test results again, and they find their error, which had been buried in bureaucracy up until then. Shortly afterwards, you get assigned to the GTD Soyokaze.
I can't say any more without giving away bits of the plot. I just didn't want you all thinking it would be a "pilot makes a living killing pirates" campaign.
