I've watched Star Wreck enough times to actually get *some* finnish, but that there's above my head. Best I could make out, you're getting faster internet... is that in the ballpark at least? If not, please explain in a language that's not utterly incomprehensible :p

Basically yeah. Three biggest finnish ISP's are preparing to offer VDSL2 connections in current ADSL price range starting next year. Initially VDSL2 will only be available in the biggest cities but no doubt rest of the country will follow soon enough, at least the parts where ADSL is currently available.

In any case, I'm content with my 8M/1M connection. For now.

I'd be more content with 5Mbit / 5Mbit or 10/10, upload of 8/1 is just too slow. :(

Well, yea. Around 100k/s up is a bit too low, but good enough most of the time.
