Yes, well you see, my problem was much simpler. When you have as many versions of the mv_ packs stored as I do, it does not help when you mix up verions heh....

Hey Scooby, well I did a little testing and i can't say if our problem are fully related, since you said you we not using mv_effects.
mv_effects was the source of the issues I had before (only the mekhu glow showing up, and no engline glows), so I'll have to look through the artwork again, as the mv_ patch series don't fix these problems for me.
Anyways, I have to do more testing and go through mv_effects before reporting anything more.
It would be highly speculative of me to say it works in D3D and not OGL, since, at this time, D3D apparently needs a lot of work to function 'correctly'.
