I'm not used to FRED, but let's take the errors one at a time:

1. To update OpenGL, update your graphics card drivers. If you're on windows, either go to update.microsoft.com, click on custom, then click on hardware(optional) on the left hand side, or get the drivers from the website of your video card manufacturer.

2. Open up the FSO launcher (you do know what the launcher is, right?) and go to the options (or is it features? i don't remember.) and make sure to remove -rlm and -noibx from the custom flags box.

as always, a more knowlegable member is free to correct me if i'm wrong.

Get more recent build. FRED2 open 3.6.5 is very old.

Recent builds forum, which is a sub-form of the Source Code Project one, would probably be a good bet...

Ok... so you have been running some older builds instead of current 3.6.9 RC stuff. You'll need to install OpenAL, http://fs2source.warpcore.org/exes/latest/OpenALwEAX.exe

You will be better off also by getting the current (3.6.8 zeta) mediavps too http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,39905.0.html with mp-710 patches

  • It's 5 minutes to midnight.
Thus the problems with running ancient builds.

Everyone who plays should be on at least 3.6.7 (old) or be using (as i do) 3.6.9 (zeta vp's for all but cell)
