hey everybody!  I'm loving the FSPort mod, but I've got one problem.  Whenever the Galatea appears in a mission, it appears as a Ulysses class fighter.  Shouldn't it be an Orion class destroyer?  How do I fix this?

Your problem is that you have at least two mods installed that are conflicting with each other.  Please post screenshots of your FreeSpace2 folder as well as any command lines you are using to launch the Port.

Also make sure there aren't any files floating around in FreeSpace2/data/tables.

Here is my Freespace2 folder. 




The command path for the mod is C:/Freespace2/FSport

Thats what I plug into the launcher.

Is there anything in FreeSpace2\data, or in FreeSpace2\data\tables?  Or in FreeSpace2\FSPort, FreeSpace2\fsport\data, or FreeSpace2\fsport\data\tables?

Also, post a screenshot of FreeSpace2\FSPort.  And your SCP builds are really old; try these:

I updated my files with the link you provided.



Screenshot of my FSport folder.  Also, there is nothing in my freespace2/data/tables folder...completely empty.  There is not an Freespace2\fsport\data\tables folder.  The data folder contains a multilog text doc, and 2 folders, cache and players.  no tables.     

I tried running it in debug mode, and I got this message:

K, I think I know what happened.  You need to run the dot8 build, not the 3_6_7 build.

Thanks for the help.  How do i run the dot8 build, as the only build i can find is the 3_6_7

I just gave you the link in my post above.  Just use it like you use the 3_6_7 build.

Oooo.     3.6.9 RC7.8?  I think I only have the .1 or .0!  I never investigated further, I just basically looked in the recent builds forum and saw that people were just still talking about RC7 and didn't think it had been updated!  I'll go check it out!

Every time I try to run the 3_6_9 build, i get the message "OpenAl32.dll was not found."  How can i fix this?

Download and install OpenAL.  There's a sticky thread in the SCP forum.
