How do I actually save one of these things to my computer.... Like the actual video file that the asx file "calls" from the interwebs?
"Your efforts to interdict me have failed, papacy. Pentagon, engage propaganda drive."
"Now, Protestant scum, you will see the power of this fully armed and operational Papal Station!"

I have never had ASX working, save for the week that I decided to try out IE7 and not install any other media players. With IE7 and WMP10+ they seem to work fine, but firefox doesnt like them.

That said, there's probably a plugin somewhere that will let you intercept the file, such as the case with you tube and the others. I suggest google.

Afaik they're xml, you should be able to open them in a text editor and get the link to the file.
