Is there a version of fred open that doesn't require opengl?

My graphics card kinda died and I working on itegrated graphics right now. I would get a new one but i don't have the money right now.

Retail.......:/ (or software mode, but you need low poly models or no model display for that...)

running it without the -fredhtl flag still reverts to software (retail) mode, right?
