Did anyone ever make a wrecked example of the mediavps GTD Orion (the one with over 11k polygons)? Where do I find it, and does it have any working turrets and a dockpoint?

It was in one of TrashMan's campaigns, but I don't know who originally did it... There was some freak problems with it. I'm not sure if they have been fixed or not.

EDIT: Flames of War - Ch.1 Demo has it, for example.

Though, IIRC, that is the non-HTL orion witha hole in it. AFAIK, there's not a high poly version of the model.

I have TrashMan's version lying somewhere, based on his 4k+ poly Orion. The thing is, it's noticeably different in both polycount and detail to the mediavps one, kind of why I was seeking a MediaVPs version of the Legion for uniformity's sake, hopefully with some, if not all turrets working, and a dockpoint too.

Yeah, I can see the point there. Though with the current state of the MediaVPs, I don't mind it that much... want stock? The MediaVPs one is available. Seeking one with more firepower for campaign purposes? TrashMan's one is available. Since a lot of people consider the Hecate a light carrier anyway, but now I'm wishing a MediaVPs Orion with more guns was made. Such is daydreaming and wishing...

Basically I was looking for a MediaVPs-styled Orion with that blown hole, and maybe with only 60-80% of available firepower across all six flanks after rushed maintenance (hence the turrets and a dockpoint, maybe an Elysium carrying the engineers). I was hoping there was one made to a similar spec...

Yeah, but IIRC, he also moved the ship's pivot/axis/centerpoint to what he thought would be more suitable, and that bothered a lot of modders/fredders/players as it changed how the ship maneuvered in game...

Not really, no. :V: said something along the lines of "call it that if you want" to some campaign crew that was using that name for it.

The "standard" Orion, yes.. I gave it more turrets (29 total I belive..but then again I gave more turrets to the Typhon too and even the Hecate)..
And I followed the original [V] design more than the current Media VP Orion.

But the Orion hulk (Legion) has the normal turret number (- several that are destroyed:D)

If only I could get back to my hard disks so that I can play around with it. Methinks I got a good idea for a defense mission, especially if some of the turrets on the HTL Legion actually work...

If I recall correctly only 3 big turrets are "destroyed" and don't work - others work.
