Last One Standing, a explosive new campaign made by Titan and Mustang19, will have its demo released by the end of March 07. The campaign, taking place in the weeks following the Capella star's supernova, centers around Task forces 15 and 27 in the Wolf 359 system. While the GTVA is trying to regroup after the Second Great War, task force 15 is attacked by shivans in Wolf 359. Task Force 27, led by the GTD Galaga, must reach them before it is too late, and stop the shivans before they wipe out the remnants of the GTVA. And they must do this without any support, any backup, and any contact with the rest of the GTVA.

(LOSD (Last One Standing demo) is halfway completed. the demo, comprising of 3 missions, is for Freespace 2, and not for SCP, though SCP compatible. There will be no voice acting for the demo, and no mods. The official campaign will have 4 chapters, the first having you be a pilot in Task Force 15, and the rest having you be in task force 27. The demo will take place in chapter 2. mission 2 is almost done, mision 1 and 3 are being made by Mustang19 and me, respectivly. PLz check back again soon for fursther updates.)

Looks promising, will this campaign have irreplaceable weapons and ships (like it was discussed in that other thread)?

i read about that, and no, its kinda basic with no little goodies and things. just sorta normal missions. the real thing we're going for is plotline value.....................   

In other news, the first chapter might require some modding (light patrol craft and things from in between the great wars). and also i have absolutely NO clue as to how mustang is doing, but the basic shaping of mission 3 is done, and now im moving to the chatter/SEXP/polishing-off stage.

Uhm...

Are you sure you want a Retail compatible demo? Using FS Open SEXPs and basic things like the skybox makers everything better. Most FS players have FS Open(and the others will obtain it soon), so you shouldn't worry about full compatibility and stuff.

well, i just got a PM about a week ago from Mustang that he has to take the SATs, and because i dont have a copy of mission 1 the demo has been postponed indefinetly if [anyone] replys and says they want the 2nd mission, it'll be up....... only if they want it. I dont like spoilers to much.

And again, sorry if i put this thread up to early, and sorry if im getting like Taka over his general mod material......    (no offense man)

i will post it, only if people want it................................. i dont think they will. I know I would prefer to wait for the demo............ whatever............... hmmmmmmmmmmm............... i still gotta FINISH the second mission, Mustang (he made the original second version, i just tweaked it.) only put it basic and a rather little amount of diolouge......awh well................

(My dad n me finaaly got this old DOS game, high command, working! its so fun, but its occupying most of my spare time.......... )
