Greetings all....I've just gotten in to the FS series (running the SCP) and I think it's a total blast!
I've done quite a bit of texturing/skinning in games I run a lot...flight sims (European Air War, Screamin' Demons Over Europe, LOMAC, the entire IL-2 series) and racing sims (NASCAR Racing series, GTR2, the older EA F1 series)...and I'm not too bad with a virtual paintbrush. Having said that, I would be glad to help out with some texturing if there's anyone that would have me. I'm not much at all on mapping (copy of 3DSMax 6), but give me a template and I'm not too bad, according to my fellow onliners in the aformentioned sims/games.
I'll post some pics tomorrow of cars/planes I've done from scratch for reference after I take some fresh screens...bedtime now that the Shivans have worn my "re-fitted" TAG Ulysses out. I'm just having such a good time playing FSO...even though that &^%%*(*% TAG mission is killing me
...that I wouldn't mind helping someone out that's doing something for the community if anyone's interested.
Besides, I really enjoy skinning and would like to see what I can do in the FS world.
