Hi all. I've just got fs2 open running on my linux box (also, I've just got my linux box up for the first time! I'm a newbie squared, I'm afraid). I'm enjoying playing FS1 and 2 again, but my cutscenes are all choppy. I've only managed to track down two posts about this, and the solution for at least one of them was to dload a different set of movies. That link, unfortunately, seems dead. Does anyone know where I might find these working cutscenes, or if there's another fix?

Edit: of course, after an hour of using different terms in the search bar and making an account and posting my problem, I just noticed I failed to look at the Freespace Download thread directly above this one. I'll see if these cutscenes do the trick.
Edit 2: So the movies I just pulled down are .avi files, and I guess these are supposed to be outdated now. That is unfortunate because the oggvp are giving me the problem above. I dropped the .avis into the fs2 folder as described at the Freespace Oracle, but I can't seem to make the game pull the movies from those files.
Any ideas? Did I overlook the obvious again?
