As of 12:03, Seattle time...17 members online,
79 guests online.Assuming that this idea has not been previously proposed, and also assuming that this was not done for a very good reason...imagine all the activity should even a small fraction of our guest horde register and contribute! Now, my own social skills are woefully inadequate for the task at hand, but I'm sure that amongst you brilliant modelling and coding savants, at least two or three or you must have the basic social skills that I lack.
Right, then.

What can we do to convince the hundreds of people that simply flitter in, grab files, and flitter off, to stay and contribute? Keep in mind a proverbial strand of fly-paper.
Here are a few of my woefully uninspired ideas.1.) Bump the "Gaming Discussion," and "Off-Topic (Pub)" forums to the top of the roster. This will grab new members. The way it is
at present is essentially a growth retardant. This is the easiest trick in the book, guys! Nab them with the off-topic forums, and let them later filter down into the main attractions.
2.) Guests must register to download SCP files or whatnot (could hideously backfire, easily my worst idea).
