Well, if you really want 80 missions, break it up into 15-20 mission "chapters", that way you can release one chapter at a time.  Make each chapter stand-alone, but also complemented by the other chapters, if you can.  My 2c.

ya, i thought about that. since my campaign will be almost 2 stories in one, (just very tied together) i might do 2-3 chapters. that would also give me time to improve the next chapter based on the response of the first one.
Fun while it lasted.
