OK, firstly, R1 and Sol: A History are retail campaigns. R1 requires a patch to play on FSOpen, and no one has ever figured out how to get Sol A History working with FSO.

Also: are you sure that you are installing these new ships correctly?
Model files goes into data/models, textures go into data/maps, tables should be in .tbm format and go into data/tables. Some rare, more advanced ships might require some files to go into data/interface or data/hud.

If you just plopped all these files into the data folder or the main folder they will not work.

yes i putted them in the correct folders
only i dont have .tbm files  i go to the inferno folder and than tables and i copy the text of that ship into the mediavp tables etc 4 months ago this was working  fine!

well.... that should work, although I wouldn't put them into the mediavp table. It might screw up other mods.

Tbm's are way simpler. You just make a text file, place your new ships into it, then call it something like "Inferno-shp.tbm". The "-shp.tbm" part is the important one here, you can name the rest of it anything you want.

If I were you, I'd also be putting these files into Inferno/data/<insert folder name here>. That way only when you play Inferno will you load the extras. You wouldn't want them causing problems with the main campaign after all.
