Now I know people have differant opinions on this game, but I felt really offended (I guess if you can call it that) when he said how crappy he thought the story was. Sure, your a pilot in a navy that has to kill an unexpected alien race and all that crap, but it's much more then that. I personally thought that the story was the very best I ever heard out of any game I ever played, which is part of the reason freespace remains my favorite game today. Does anybody else agree with me?

I do like the "cog in the machine" feel that FS2 aimed for. Squadmates can make things seem a bit too personalistic and that the war revolves around you.

So the trick is striking a balance when writing. Focusing more on the squadrons in a potential sequel would do that.

Ah, oki, thanks. I've been around back when Raa was Snipes, if you wanna know (I've been around since the creation of HLP, to make things short). And it is Setekh I think (or was it Sethek? bah, it's Steak anyway).
