my dad let me get SCP, but if theres ANYTHING in appropriate, hes gonna uninstall it. thats why i only installed SCP and FS-port. is there ANYTHING bad in port?

The worst cussing gets is "Dammit!" and "What the hell?"

The most graphic things get are in the hallfight movie.

There is no nudity or sexual content that I know of, and because it's spaceships fighting, basically no gore.

I would say that if you're allowed to watch the Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi, Freespace will not be a problem for you at all.

Yeh. Don't worry. Probably the most inappropriate thing I've encountered was the nude patch reference in JAD2. Apart from that, there really isn't anything worse than what you can see on TV.

somone remind me to make a mod to increase the gore, what would be awesome is to have those little pilot models explode in a cloud of blood when you shoot em through the cockpit. that would be n3kr0.

How 'bout pilots ejecting from their ships before exploding? That way you could ram the floating pilots with your ship, accompanied by an appropriate 'splut' sound.

Oh, that reminds me. There is of course the infamous 'Headz' video. If you are reading this, Mr. Titan's dad, the video I'm talking about contains grotesque aliens who are about to make dinner from blood dripping human heads. And we can only speculate what they're going to do with the bodies... You can't possibly allow your son to see this sick and repulsive material, now can you?

then titan needs to learn to circumvent such parental restrictions. i dont like kids who are afraid of the boogeyman because they werent alowed to watch jason movies at age 4 actually thats the age my neice was when i introduced her to doom. she always would tell everybody how she likes to kill deamons. i found that rather cute

how do you get FSport ships to be in FRED2open?

EDIT: also, when i play port (haven't checked out normal FS2 campaign) theres no sound

Make a FRED shortcut on your desktop. Right click and select "Properties". In the box that says "Target" at the end press the spacebar and add without quotations "-mod fsport". You can replace "fsport" with any mod folder.

Why on earth would there be anything inappropriate in the SCP ? Tell your dad that Thesizzler said that "the SCP is a graphics upgrade, not some pornified different game. This game is a SPACE simulation. Not a PORN simulation. Having porn in this game is like having porn on the dashboard of your car."

Other than encouraging Titan to "circumvent parental controls" which is assinine (shouldn't it be more about educating the parent, instead of vindicating their fears of the unknown?), this is about as innocent as they make them.
