Guys, this bomb isn't even close to having the yield of a nuclear bomb. Little Boy had a yield of 13-16 Kilotons of TNT, while this thing only has a yield of 44 tons. Not an N² mine at all.

Yes but since nuclear weapons are politically difficult to use the latest craze is building the biggest non-nuclear "conventional" explosive that you can think of. We have the MOAB and the FOAB and I'm sure we'll have some sort of other family related bomb thats bigger than the rest sometime in the near future.  Perhaps the Grandmother of All Bombs?
