As the title says, I am looking for FREDers and modelers.  This is my first campaign, so I understand if people don't want to help.  However, if you are willing it would be great.

Basics:
Campaign is post-Capella.  Player will start stationed on a refitted destroyer of pre-FS1 type.  Because of economic depression in GTVA, player will use older equipment (I even brought in the Angel).  This is where I will need modeling help.  I need a few classes of pre-FS1 capital ships.  (Right now, I am using INFA's Zagreus).  Player will investigate suspicious activities surrounding large corporation's operations (most likely the familiar ship manufacturers will be included).  The player will discover that the corporations have formed an alliance, and using their wealth have rebelled from and attacked the GTVA.  The alliance will use StratComm's fleet (ships from BluePlanet).  The player will hold off corporate attack, steadily receiving more advanced tech as the situation becomes more desperate.  At this time SOC unveils new GTVA fleet which is very powerful, though limited in number.  Player begins operatio to lure corporate fleet to one battlefield so powerful SOC fleet can defeat the alliance.  This happens, and GTVA is victorious, but a shivan fleet jumps in at the end of the battle, and destroys all but GTVA flagship.  This is where this chapter ends.

Pre-FS1 ships, eh? The just-released TVWP demo has a bunch.

I doubt many of them would have survived both the TV War and the Great War tho, much less the Reconstruction.

However! It is quite possible that the Terran Blocs used older ships to augment their forces for a while, particularly in backwaters like Wolf 359. Also possible is that a couple of those old ships (Reliants/Zagrei) became museum ships, and were hastily pressed back into service after Capella.

My guess is that refitted old would be ill-suited for straight-up combat, and any jerry-rigged beam cannons would be prone to failure, but they'd make decent carriers or Meson node collapsers in a pinch.

I think the Vasudans in such a situation would want to start making a large flotilla of smaller, cruiser/corvette-sized minicarriers they could churn out in numbers and sacrifice if needed.

Yeah.  I just finished the TVWP demo and thought some of the ships were okay.  The falcon fighter was nice.  The constellation might make an apperance, but I wasn't real happy with its shape.

There is a highish poly Sagittarius that is quite nice, but not included in the demo.  A highish poly Damocles exists as a MAX file, but I need to convince someone to convert it.  The chapter 1 fighters would be horribly obsolete by post Capella times -- like hauling a Gloster Gladiator out of a museum and using it in combat today.

I'll think  about those models.  If I used any of the fighters, I would refit them with more modern weapons (not that they'd be carrying Kaysers), but I still like the shape and the older feel.  BTW nice job with the TVWP demo.
