My all time favorite the MS-DOS editor. Although lately I've just been using notepad as well. For you die hards there is always EDLIN.

well, thanks people. Now I know how to mod (simple things) and how NOT to sound like an obnoxious, over-emotiona,l drunk, psycho, post freak. Now I can happily take down the barbed wire around my mailbox.

I guess my excuse is I'm still young.

I would recommend something like notepad+, crimson edit or araneae instead of the 'standard issue' notepad. Line numbers etc make it a tad easier.

If your as young as me (almost 14, getting my learner's soon by the way), then i know how you feel. Otherwise, good revalation

Just kidding. If what you need is line numbers, use something with line numbers. It's as simple as that.
