erm, oops  :nervous:

so anyway, when i was a full time student i picked up a thinkpad tablet when my old school wanted me to return the one i bought from them when i transferred (i've since dropped out of college and entered the workforce and no longer throw money at people)

thing runs great for a tablet, but since i've built a new desktop myself, it kindof sat gathering dust (for a while since my ancient laptop was easier to use and was larger)

so i've now networked a printer through it, and i'm leaving it in a screen off state on a bookshelf plugged in for network printing, but its in a perfect position to allow me access to it while standing in my bedroom doorway on my way in or out of my room, so i figured i'd set it up as a random workstation where i could enter my work schedule, have some pop up slash audible alarms when i have deadlines or when its time to actually leave for work and stuff. right now it just idles while F@H runs

now, can anyone recommend a program that can do that other than some bastardized merge of outlook/thunderbird/an alarm program/lolcheeze? nothing too fancy needed, just something with a daily/weekly/monthly callender that can show scheduled items in a time block (much like outlook does) but in a more sleek design so that when i look at it all i would see is the display and simple controls to add a new event (in before fullscreen outlook)?

tl;dr go jump off a bridge
